What can I bring with me?

Please bring your provincial Health Care Card, any extended health care cards & sufficient prescribed medications for the duration of your stay. Bring comfortable clothes, outerwear, walking shoes and appropriate clothing for walking or using the gym. Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels are supplied. Will my family be involved?

It is recommended. Every effort is made to include family and/or significant others. This encompasses meeting(s) with the counselor, attending the weekly family night and/or on-site Al-Anon meeting and participation at the quarterly one day seminar for families.

Who are the clients?

Crosbie thrives on diversity; new male and female clients of all ages, professions, backgrounds, addiction(s) have completed the program. Clients can be different in many ways but typically leave with many things in common; gratitude, hope, tools for recovery, and a sense of belonging to a new “family”.

What is your success rate?

On average 3/4 of clients are abstinent at the end of the first year. The probability of a successful outcome increases significantly for alumni who have followed the aftercare plan.
