Please bring your provincial Health Care Card, any extended health care cards & sufficient prescribed medications for the duration of your stay. It is recommended. Every effort is made to include family and/or significant others. This encompasses meeting(s) with the counselor, attending the weekly family night and/or on-site Al-Anon meeting and participation at the quarterly one day seminar for families.
Crosbie thrives on diversity; new male and female clients of all ages, professions, backgrounds, addiction(s) have completed the program. Clients can be different in many ways but typically leave with many things in common; gratitude, hope, tools for recovery, and a sense of belonging to a new “family”.
On average 3/4 of clients are abstinent at the end of the first year. The probability of a successful outcome increases significantly for alumni who have followed the aftercare plan.
